(GPIL) is an India-based company engaged in generation of electricity, Iron ore mining and manufacturing of Iron Ore Pellets, Sponge Iron, Steel Billets, Wire Rods, H.B. wire and Ferro alloys. GPIL also has presence in the product segment of the steel industry, into mild steel wire. GPIL also manufactures mild steel wires. The company manufactures sponge iron, billets, ferro alloys, captive power, wires rods, steel wires, Oxygen gas, fly ash brick and also iron ore pellets. The Company is operating two Iron Ore mines, Ari Dongri mine and Boria Tibu mine. The Company is operating two pellet plants at Raipur with capacity of 1.80 million tons and one pellet plant in subsidiary Company in Orissa with capacity of 0.60 million tons. The Company operates power plants: captive power, waste heat recovery, bio mass (Rice Husk), thermal (Coal Based), merchant/IPP solar thermal (CSP), Bio Mass (Rice Husk) and Wind Mills.
